With sadness we announce the passing of our brother, Francis J. Andrea, age 88, son of the late Michael J. and Jeannette Marie (Gauthier) Andrea. Francis passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 in Oakland, California, where he was a resident for approximately 62 years.
He belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Oakland, where he served as a Lector. In his work life he was an agent for a financial securities company.
Francis is survived by his brothers and sisters; Dave (Barb) Andrea, Porter’s Lake, Elias (Agnes) Andrea, Thunder Bay, Lauretta (Herm) Smith, Campbell’s River, BC, Bernie Andrea, Calgary, Tony Andrea, Dartmouth, Fr. Jake Andrea, Mill Creek, Eugene (Ann) Andrea, Sydney and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation took place in Oakland and a memorial mass will be celebrated at a late date.
