HEFLER, CATHERINE - Catherine (Kate) Hefler (Brittain), passed away April 13, 2011 in Shelburne, NS where she was residing. For over 10 years she battled lung cancer. Born May 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Marion Brittain. She was a loving wife to David Hefler of 40 years, and mother to James, Robert, and Brandy. She was a grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of one. Kate graduated from Vocational High School andworked at the hospitals in Saint John over the years.
