It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother Glenn, on November 16, 2017 at the age of 55. Born at St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's, Newfoundland, on April 24, 1962, he was the eldest son of the late Mildred Griffin. Glenn is survived by his sister Peggy Ann (Mark), Nova Scotia, brother Garry (Tricia), nieces Magan and Aliya, Manitoba, and a large circle of family and friends. Glenn was a Power Engineer by trade and was a member of USW Local 5795. He loved Popular Science, Popular Mechanics and his road trips across Newfoundland. Visitation will be held at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:30 am from Assumption Church, Avondale. Inurnment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
