It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy Gibb. Sandy passed away peacefully on November 17, 2017.
He will be remembered by his wife Moira, sisters Jean and Elaine, step-children, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Jack, and brother Douglas. Very important to him were many dear friends who have provided great support throughout his lifetime, most notably Ron and Carol Service.
Sandy was born in Garden Bay, BC and grew up in Roberts Creek, where he lived most of his life. He remained an integral part of the logging community on the Sunshine Coast and Coastal BC, active in the industry until his passing. He had an impact on so many lives on the Coast and beyond and his loss will be felt by all who knew him, and hardest by those who knew and loved him best.
A celebration of life will be announced.
