Pauline Gloria Frizzell (Goguen)

63, of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edouard (Ned) and Alva (Melanson) Goguen.
Pauline worked for School District 2 since 1978 as a custodian and then later the custodial foreman. Following her retirement she continued to work on a casual basis as well. She enjoyed softball and was one of the founders of the Salisbury Road Ladies Softball League. She played for years and then was the coach of the L’il Devils until her illness. She also enjoyed bowling in the Domestic Engineers League and the Tri-City Mixed League. But her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Pauline will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 47 years, George; children, Ron (Charlene) Frizzell, Moncton; Dana Cormier, Riverview; Randy Frizzell at home; Kelly (Sam) Cormier, Riverview; her pride and joy her grandchildren, Trevor, Ashley, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Zoe; and her great-grandson, Landon. Her sisters, Florida (Jean Rock) Dube, Lillian (Grant) MacMellon, Phyllis (Ron) Perry, Mary Wilson, Louise (Ken) Gorman. Her brothers, Meddy (Theresa), Joe (Joanne), Raoul, Normand (Florine), Rod (Sandra). Her sister-in-law, Violette. Also survived by her brothers-in-law, Donnie (Diane), Vernon (Glenda), Warren (Carol), Roger (Gloria); sister-in-law, Lorna (Colin) Arthur; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Leonard, Ozzie, Eugene, Dollard and Victor. Also survived by her best friend Rhonda MacKenzie.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with Aaron Billard officiating. The funeral service to be held at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 2, at 1 p.m., with the interment to take place at Fair Haven Cemetery.
Donations to the Karing Kitchen, the National Camps for the Blind or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
