Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 25th, 2017 at the Health sciences center at the age of 75 years. Predeceased by her parents Chesley and Priscilla Parsons and sister Verna Bennett. Survived by her children: Larry, Shawn, Paul (Brenda), Janice (Morgan), Kay, Verna (Darrell) and their father Alexander; grandchildren: Michael (Kelly), Janelle (Morgan), Joscelyn and Angelina; great-grandchildren: Ashlynn, Matilda and Malachi; siblings: Millicent (Willie), Garfield (Louise), Gayla (Dave), John (Ida), Barry (Joanne), Barbara, Minnie and Triffie (Rick); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Monday, November 27th from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 28th at 11am, interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
