Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Saturday, November 25, 2017 after a courageous battle with Cancer, Elizabeth "Liz" Evans (nee O'Brien) at the age of 68. Predeceased by her parents: Alice O'Brien (nee Lundrigan) and Edward O'Brien; her brothers: Mike, Jimmy and Kevin; her sisters: Shirley (Gulliver) and Kay (Wadland); brothers-in-law: Errol Gulliver, Graham French and Al Wadland; sister-in-law Barb O'Brien. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Richard of 49 years; her darling daughters: Kim and Paula; her six grandchildren who she cherished: Randy, Corey, Chad, Melissa, Mark, and Brayden, also a large circle of family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre and the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre for their compassion and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Monday and Tuesday. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow the service.
