JANES, Drucella — Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, October 31, 2008, Drucella Janes of Carbonear, age 100 years. Predeceased by husband: George W., daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis and John Cornish; sons: John and Clarence; daughter-in-law: Margaret; grandchildren: Barbara and Angela; great-granddaughter: Sarah; brother: Leo. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Hilda (Bert) Power, Carbonear; four sons: Ambrose (Phyllis), Carbonear, Leo (Debbie), St. John’s, George (Peggy) and David, both of Carbonear; special grandson: John Cornish, Alberta; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Evelyn, Carbonear and Iris, Truro, N.S.; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 3 at 2 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
