CALDER, EDGAR KEITH - Keith Calder of Fredericton, NB was called home on April 29th, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born October 29th, 1943 in St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of the late Edgar Tilley "Ned" and Lulu "Irene" (Chaffey) Calder and was raised by the late Phyllis and Arthur Butler. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Snodgrass) Calder; his children, Leah Calder of Delta, BC and Ian Calder (Anne-Marie Heinekamp) of Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Esme Heinekamp-Calder; siblings, Elaine Leslie (Willard) of Deer Island, NB, Paul Butler (Brenda) of Pennfield, NB and Beverley Justason (Edward) of Pennfield, NB; one uncle, Albert Chaffey of Bayside, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at Brunswick Street Baptist Church at a later date. Interment will take place in the Fairhaven Community Cemetery, Calder's Head, Deer Island, NB. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Keith may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
