The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, November 26, 2017, of Frederick “Fred” Ripley, of Summerside, aged 75 years. Born in Rumford, Maine, he was the son of the late James and Evangeline (Doiron) Ripley. Survived by his wife Josephine (McInnis) Ripley; his children Jonathan (Robyn) Ripley and Leslie (Chesley) Chaisson; grandchildren Mason, Chase, Jack, Noah, Joseph and Ethan; sisters Patricia “Pat” (Russ) Kelly and Janice (Duane) Nichols; a brother David (Barbara) Ripley; sister-in-law Lucy Ripley; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Robert “Bob” Ripley. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
