We shall cherish those precious memories,
Of the days when you were here.
Remembering you is easy, we do it every day.
But missing you is a heartache, that will never go away.

Your cheerful smile, your heart of gold
You were the best this world could hold.
Never selfish, always kind
These are the memories you left behind.
No verse, no flowers, no tears can say
How much we miss you everyday.

To hear your voice and see your smile,
To sit and talk to you awhile,
To be together in the same old way,
Would be our dearest wish today.

That terrible night is etched in our memories forever.
No words can ease the pain of losing you. Life certainly isn’t fair.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories a lane,
I’d dance right up to heaven
and bring you home again.
