DOIRON, OMER - (1934-2011) - SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Omer Doiron, 76, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent hospital. Born in Saint-Louis, he was the son of the late Euclide and late Marie-Rose (Doiron) Doiron. Omer attended the Saint-Louis-des-Francais Roman Catholic Church and worked as a fisherman before retiring. Omer will be sadly missed by his loving wife Exilda, by his four daughters; Bernice Doiron (Robert Martin) of Collette, Dianne Doiron (Robert Tremblay), Monique Vautour (Simon), and Lisa Cormier (Luc), all three of Saint-Louis, by his eight grand children; Natalie, Lynn, Adrien, Stéphanie, Melanie, Josée, Karine, Anabelle, by his six great grand children; Janie, Myriam, Sébastien, Calixte, Morgan, Jayden, by his three sisters; Rosane Drouin (Nelson) of Montreal, QC, Géraldine Daigle (Ovila) of Saint-Louis, Gabrielle Cyr (Norm) of Connecticut, by his three brothers; Bernard (Dot) of Point-du-Chêne, Gilbert (Angèle), Leopold (Germaine) both of Saint-Louis, as well as by his several nieces and nephews. Other than by his parents, Omer is predeceased by his sister Florence Babineau (late Sylvain).
Omer will be resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis, with visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm, as well as on Wednesday from 2:00pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at 4:00 pm, at the Saint-Louis-des-Francais Roman Catholic Church.
