COULTER, Jennie Kathleen – 81, Truro, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 1, 2011, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born July 15, 1929, in Dutch Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Ora Mae Isenor. Jennie was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church, where she devoted herself to her church and church family. Her family meant the world to her and she looked forward to time spent camping at Brule, Seafoam and more recently, Pictou, with them. She worked at Stanfield’s as a sewer and Zellers as a cashier. Jennie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, George Ernest Coulter; children, Beverley (Ralph) Robinson, Pembroke, Ontario; Dale (Margo) Coulter, Pictou; Ruth Coulter, Toronto; grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew (Tarrah), Bradley (Ginny), Heather, Victoria (Danny), Allison; great grandchildren, Taylor, Alexandria, Ashley, Daniel; sisters, Frances (Jim) Langille, Dartmouth; Cora Burris, Debert; brothers, Calvin Isenor, Bible Hill; Earl (Shirley) Isenor, Salmon River; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn in infancy; brother, Judson Isenor. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Ryan Sommers for his exceptional care and also to the 4th floor nursing staff at Colchester Regional Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Jennie’s family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Calvary Pentecostal Church, 20 Curtis Drive, Pastor Michael Aud officiating. Interment to follow in Bible Hill Cemetery.
