COPP, ZETTA MARION - 1920-2011 - Zetta Marion Copp, 90, of Forest Dale Home formerly of New Horton, surrounded by her loving family passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, April 30, 2011. Zetta was born in Waterside, Albert County, NB on June 1, 1920 the daughter of the late Hartford and Carrie (Stewart) Rossiter. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Frank, Charles, Ronald, Osman, John, Edward and sisters, Eva, Viola, Ruth, Dora, Carrie and Annie. Zetta was also predeceased by her loving husband Tom and daughter Tillie. Surviving are her sisters, Veta McKinley, Marjorie Butland and Clara Manning. A wonderful loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother leaves to mourn hers sons, Clayton (Joanne), Lester (Elsie), Trueman (Marilyn) and Ralph (Patti); six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Zetta was a very special lady who took great pride in raising her family. She was a member of the New Horton Baptist Church. She was a hard worker, having several jobs during her lifetime. Running their store in New Horton, cook in Alma and Fundy Park and planting trees for J.D. Irving. She mostly enjoyed working the farm and woodland with her husband Tom. She also loved sharing with her children and grandchildren her hunting and fishing skills. Family and friends would often drop in to enjoy Zetta's famous homemade donuts along with a cup of tea. Zetta always lived life to the fullest and was very independent, there was nothing she wouldn't try. She was always involved in the community and If anyone needed anything Zetta was there for them. She was known for her quick wit and her great sense of humour. She would want her family to remember all the fun times they had and have a laugh at the stories to be shared. " What we keep in memory is ours forever".
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at 2:00pm with Rev. Donald Oldford officiating. Interment will be in the Bayview Cemetery, Harvey, NB. In Zetta's memory donations to the Bayview Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
