Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Centre in the presence of her loving family, Margaret Hefferan (nee Hickey) of Jerseyside, Placentia, NL, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband Ronald, son Edmund, grandson Johnny, and son-in-law Lar Walsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her devoted family who will miss her dearly - sons Albert (Nellie), Jim (Tilly), Ron (Mary), and Tom (Mona); daughters Bridie, Nellie (Billy), Linda (Wayne), Jenny (Fred), Betty (Ronald), Margie (Bob), and Mary (Danny); daughter-in-law Gina; sister-in-law Olive Butler Greene; 27 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Mom made a profound and lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. No one who came through her door left hungry and she could make a meal out of anything. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place Monday and Tuesday from 10 am - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place 10 am on Wednesday, December 13th at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia.
