The family of the late Hector MacKenzie would like to express our thanks and appreciation for all the condolences shown during our recent loss. To those who brought food, made phone calls, visits, traveled long distance, sent cards, flowers and donations, we thank you. We would like to thank the Royal Oak Masonic Lodge for their service at the funeral home. Our thanks to Rev. Peter MacDonald, Rev. Susan Smith, the choir of St. James Presbyterian Church, granddaughter Patricia Kirkwood for playing the bagpipes, and the Royal Canadian Legion, Florence for their part in the funeral service. Thank you to the pallbearers Felix Ahle, Bill Bonar, Chris and Mark Eyking, Mervyn MacAulay and Allison young. And to the honorary pallbearers from the Bras d'Or Senior's & Pensioner's Club and the Florence Legion. A special thank you to the staff of Harbour View Veteran's wing for the care given to Dad over the past two years and to the Veterans who attended the funeral. We would like to thank Annette and staff from Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home for their professionalism. Thank you to the Millville Community Centre for the lovely lunch provided following the service. Many thanks to all you who helped in any way, you will always be remembered.
