Passed away after a brief illness at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Monday, December 11, 2017, Donald Mark Dampier of Bloomfield, aged 76 years. Predeceased by his first wife Ruby (Noseworthy); great-grandson J.T. Palmer; father Gilbert Dampier; mother Edna Dampier (Oldford) and step-father Stewart Oldford. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Eva (Greening); daughter Lynn Gamble, Saskatchewan; sons Bill Dampier (Noelle), Alberta and Robert Dampier (Sherri), Manitoba; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Greta Pilgram (Ralph); brother Max Oldford (Shirley) and Gary Oldford (Donna); Aunt Gertie Walters; step-children Paula Bonnell, Eddie Bonnell (Debbie), Andy Johnson and Sandy Hookey (Cy); 7 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from Noon – 9 p.m. Cremation to take place. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Salvation Army Islandview Citadel, Musgravetown with interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown.
