It is with great sadness and loss that the family of Maria Galliott of Eddies Cove West announces her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with loving memories daughters: Joyce Galliott of Eddies Cove West, and Patricia (Roy) Swyer of Ottawa, Ontario; sons: Warren (Justine) Galliott of Eddies Cove West, and Henry (Jen) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Warren, Derek, Mackenzie, Jonathan, Corey, and Leah; great-grandchildren: Lochlainn, Ceilidh, Jacob, Joshua and sister Joanna Sheppard of Brig Bay. She was predeceased by husband Henry Galliott. The family invited friends to visit at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Sunday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service with The Reverend Clare Stewart officiating, was held at the church onTuesday December 12, at 2 p.m. followed by cremation at Fillatre’s Crematorium Pasadena as per her wish.
