Passed away in the presence of her loving family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, May 1, 2011, aged 68 years. Predeceased by parents Patrick and Helen Kirby (nee Long), brother Anthony Kirby (Barbara) and sister Patricia Smith. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Walter; son Kenneth (Eileen); daughter Cindy Rollings Putt; brothers: Patrick (Chum) Kirby, Ont., Donald Kirby, Ont., Joseph Kirby (Violet), Spaniards Bay, Daniel Kirby, Ont., and sister Mary Kirby, Ont..; granddaughter Allison Rollings (Justin Coles) and great-grandson Nathan; sisters-in-law: Marjorie, Ruby, Eddie, Shirley and Sandra; son-in-law Ken Putt; special friend Sandra Bogan; as well as a large circle of family and friends. A special thank you to all of her caregivers at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, your kindness will never be forgotten. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow funeral service. Interment will take place on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
