CORMIER, MILDRED AGUSTA - The death of Mildred Agusta Cormier of Loch Lomond Villa occurred on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 3, 1920 in Bloomfield, NB a daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Adair) Hodgin. Mildred was a member of Legion of Mary and the Society of League in the Infant Jesus of Prague. She is survived by her son Carl (Faith) of Saint John; brothers Harold (Emily) Hodgin of Moncton and Kenneth of Bloomfield; sisters Genevieve Anglin of Saint John, Madeline (Gordon) Mercer of Hampton, Muriel (Alair) Richard of Saint John, Carolyn (Robert) Gilchrist of Norton and Barbara (Edwin) Sands of Hampton; granddaughters Celia and Jessica. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by brothers Murray and Bernard and sisters Marion Donnelly and Pauline Mercer.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph’s Building Fund.
