It is with great sadness that the family of the late QUEENA E. POOLE of Fortune announces her passing at The Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Calvin (Eleanor) of Fortune, Gerald (Nancy) of Ramea, Derek (Paulette) of Ramea, Kimball (Effie) of Ramea, Bruce (Daphne) of Brooks, AB., and Scott (Peggy) of Brooks, AB.; Daughters Nancy (Robert) Periera of Grand Bank, Yvonne (Terry) Fleming of Fox Trap, Patricia (Gerald) Baker of Fox Trap, Doris (Walter) Andrews of Brooks, AB., and Doreen (Stephen) Hachey of Riverview, NB.; Mother Mary Roberts; Sisters Edith (Junior) Strickland, Evelyn (Jim) Tibbo, Doris Ahee, and Alice (Dave) Balogh; Brothers Norm (Blanche) Roberts and Tom (Louise) Roberts; 24 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Ralph, Father Stanley Roberts, Brothers Ronald & Calvin, Sister Mabel and Great Grandson Parker.
Funeral Service took place at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Friday May 6, 2011 at 2:00pm. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Fortune. In Queena’s memory, flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
