The death occurred peacefully, at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, of Vera Arsenault of Summerside, aged 96 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Loudavine (McGillivray) Clow. Survived by her daughter Helen Bass, Scarborough, Ont.; son Donald Arsenault, Summerside; grandchildren Stephanie (David) Kirkpatrick, Cynthia (Ronald) Dollekamp, Gerald (Candace) Arsenault, Gary (Judy) Arsenault Gregory Bass (Anne Gilford), Kelly Arsenault and Grant Arsenault (Dianne); great-grandchildren Benjamin, Ashley (Peter), Joshua, Keith (Angie), and Travis (Candice); great-great granddaughter Skylea; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Walter Arsenault; brothers Lorne, Herman and Lloyd Clow; and by her sisters Helen Deeley and Hazel Brown. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 2–4 p.m. only. St. Paul’s Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service at the funeral home, Thursday at 4 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
