MAZEROLLE, YVON - 1929 – 2011 - Cocagne – Yvon Mazerolle, 82, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, May 4th, after a lengthy illness. Born in Pointe-Sapin on February 7, 1929, he was the son of the late Antoine and Léa (Robichaud) Mazerolle. Yvon will be sadly missed by his son Adrice (Lyne) of Montreal; his two brothers, Ovila of Cocagne, Hector of Bouctouche; his four sisters, Lorette Lirette of Shediac, Alphonsine Després (Normand), Yvette Mazerolle and Lina Pellerin (Yvon), all of Cocagne; his grandson, Christopher; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Emery, Alfred, Alyre, Aldéi and four sisters, Anne-May, Joséphine, May-Rita and Jeanne.
In respect to Yvon’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Friday, May 6 at 10:30 am. Donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
