Passed away at the Health Science Center on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the presence of her husband and son after a year long battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents: Raymond (1988) and Josephine (2001) Parsons. Leaving to mourn her heartbroken and devoted husband of 29 years, Jerry and her loving son Brett (Hayley Trask); brother Ray (Joy) Parsons of St. John’s; sisters: Clemmie (Sam) King of Badger’s Quay, Minnie (Earl) Hoyles of Mt. Pearl, and Marguerite (Albert) Best of Wesleyville; mother-in-law: Mary Starkes of Pool’s Island; sisters-in-law: Peggy (Keith) Blanchard of Mt. Pearl and Vicky (John) Kean of Pool’s Island; brother-in-law: Ricky (Judy) Hoyles of Pool’s Island; Donna’s cherished friends and colleagues from Baker Hughes; nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Pearl on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
