With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Albert Mackey Sr., on Friday, December 22, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Charlotte, and his father Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories are his children: Maria, Debbie (Loyola), Tammy (Glen), Olive, Albert (Colleen), Raymond (Lorraine), and Eddie (Shannon); 9 brothers and 5 sisters; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; loving and devoted mother, Mary Mackey; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends with special mention to Clyde Bowland forever more of a brother than a friend. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, December 27th, from 12:00pm – 9:00pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial service to be held at Mary Queen of the World Parish on Friday, December 29th, at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
