Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, August 14, 2009, Annie M. Morris of Lower Island Cove, age 98 years. Predeceased by husbands: Llewellyn Cull (1933) and Robert Morris (1998); daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Bill Wiltshire; parents: William and Mary Ann Thorne; three brothers and five sisters. Leaving to mourn, son Robert (Dianne), Carbonear; four grandchildren: Dana (Grant) Yetman, N.S.; Lisa (Mike) Waye, St. John’s; Adam Morris (Carla Nearing), N.S.: and Brian (Mona) Wiltshire, Ont.; five great-grandchildren: Liam and Kara Yetman, Simon Waye, Will and Becky Wiltshire; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 7 p.m. Saturday, August 15. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 17 at 10:30 a.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point.
