MARQUIS, KATHLEEN CONSTANCE - Mrs. Kathleen Constance Marquis, widow of the late Stanley Marquis of Tabusintac Nursing Home, passed away Thursday, May 5th, 2011 at her late residence at the age of 93. Born in Tabusintac, she was the daughter of the late James and Amanda (Munroe) MacIntosh. She was a retired school teacher and also owned and operated a store and hotel. She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, Tabusintac, NB. She is survived by three sons: Robert (Debbie) of Missisauga, Ontario, Gordon (Linda) of Miramichi, and Donald of Tabusintac, one sister Allison (Harry) Porter of Miramichi, and one son-in-law, Gunther Mecking. Kathleen Constance Marquis was predeceased by her parents, husband, one daughter, Allison Mecking and one grandson, Lawrence Marquis. She has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kathleen Constance Marquis is resting at St. Andrew’s United Church in Tabusintac, with visitation Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 2pm at St. Andrew’s United Church with Rev. J.D. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery later in the spring.
