Passed peacefully away on December 24, 2017, in her 100th year, our dear mother, Emily Sarah Baker. Predeceased by husband Bill; sons Bill Jr. and Doug; daughter Joan. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Ron (Betty), Fred, Bob (Charmaine), Wayne (Sandra), Don, and Rick (Sharon) along with daughters Shirley (John), Judy (Tom), Linda (Eldon) and Beverley; brother Walter (Loretta) Vere-Holloway; sisters-in-law Lillian Holloway and Rita Baker as well as extended family and friends. A special thank you to the staff of the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion for taking such great care of Mom in her last years. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 27 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, December 28 from 2-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 29 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
