The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, August 15, 2009 of Joseph D. Arsenault, dear husband of Aline of St. Chrysostome at the age of 81 years. He is the son of late Joseph J. and Lucie Anne Arsenault. He is the loving father of Alfred (Diane) of Abram Village, Elva (Jean Paul) Arsenault of Charlottetown, Rose (Greg Prichard) of Antigonish, N.S., Father Albin Arsenault of Miscouche, Carmen (Robert Moore) of Yellowknife, Lionel (Sarah) of Dieppe, N.B., Lucille (David Thompson) of North Milton, and Alice (Felix Arsenault) of St. Chrysostome. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by five children in infancy, his brothers Edward, Franky, Willie and his sister Helene. Beloved pepe of Ghislain and Monique Arsenault, Sylvie, Clement and Jacques Arsenault; Lisa, Lori and Ashley Prichard; Gilles, Carolyn and Melanie Arsenault, Christopher and MacKinley Moore and Dominique, Denis and Miguel Arsenault and great-grandchildren Samuel and Natalie Gallant. Joseph is also survived by one sister Rita of Dieppe and brothers Alyre, (Corinne) of Wellington, Levi (Louise) of Abram Village, Leo (Yvonne) of St. Chrysostome, Peter (Rose) of Wellington and Albert (Norma) of St. Chrysostome. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Thursday, then to St. John the Baptist Church in Miscouche for funeral mass at 4:00 p.m. Visitation shall be received on Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral. Memorial donations to Prince County Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church cemetery.
