Daisy Budovitch

Budovitch, Daisy (Velensky) - Daisy (Velensky) Budovitch of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital with family members at her side on Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born in Fredericton, NB on January 11, 1920 and was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Sadie Velensky and by her husband of 62 years, Frank Budovitch.
She was also predeceased by brother, Max Velensky (Mary) and her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Budovitch. She is survived by her sons, Mitchell, Arnold (Judy), Steven and Howard (Rachel); grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Eric, Paul, Shana, Natasha, Robyn and Maya as well as four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Bob Velensky (Gwen). Daisy was a kind and gentle woman, devoted to her family and loyal to friends, community and her faith.
The family wants to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses of 4NE at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their kindness and compassion these last days. They also express their appreciation to Dr. Calvin Bruce who was their respected and unfailing family physician.
The funeral service will take place at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, 160 York Street on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Rabbi Goldman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sgoolai Israel Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
