Though tears in our eyes do not glisten and our face is not always sad,
there is never a night or morning,we don't think of the mother we had,
not a day do we forget you,in our heart you are always there,
for we love you and miss you as it ends the second year.
The moment you died our hearts split in two,
one side filled with memories and the other died with you,
we often lay awake at night, when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane with a tear upon our cheek
remembering you is easy we do it every day ,
but missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
Life has gone on without you, but it will never be the same,
for those who still have their mom's, treat her with tender care,
you will never know the emptiness when you turn and she's not there.
