New Glasgow : Duane Eric Champion age 37 of Abercrombie Road New Glasgow passed away suddenly on Friday May 6th ,2011 as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Born in Toronto he was the son of Eric and Margaret “Verna” (Langille ) Champion of Saltsprings Pictou Co.
Duane lived in Pictou County the greater part of his life.
He worked for MacGregor’s Custom Machine Shop for the past 13 years.
Duane was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church where he also was involved in volunteering and ministery.
He enjoyed volunteering with the Trenton Youth Club .
Duane was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
Surviving besides his parents are his wife the former Kimberly Parsons

His beloved dog Havanna

The family will receive visitors from 6-9 P.M. on Tuesday in the H.W.Angus Funeral , 256 King Street New Glasgow .
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 P.M. from the Christian Fellowship Church ,Abercrombie Rd. , New Glasgow with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations in Duane’s memory may be made to the Christian Motorcyclist Association.
