The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, December 28th, 2017 of Bernice Mary (nee Pelow) Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 92 years. Bernice was born in Ganoaque, ON. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gallant and loving mother of Terrance Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brian (Tasha) Tod and Christopher Tod, her great grandchildren Allison, Michael, Grace and Kayla Tod. Survived by her sisters Anita Palmer and Jackie Pelow and several nieces and nephews. Bernice was predeceased by her daughter Carol Gallant and son Robert Gallant and by several brothers and sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, January 4th, then to St. Paul’s church for a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Bernice’s memory to St. Paul’s Church would be greatly appreciated.
