It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maud (Jane) Marshall announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care on Dec. 29, 2017 at the age of 63 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her daughter Jocelyn Griffin (husband John); her grandchildren Hailey and Nicholas. Her siblings Jerry (Jocelyn), Albert (Joan), Cyril (Elaine), Lorne (Paulette); brother-in-law Brian Blackwood also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Maud was predeceased by her parents Frank and Emily Marshall and her sister Ida Blackwood. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral at this time. Interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and staff of 4 North Corner Brook Long Term Care Center for the care Jane received. As expressions of sympathy, there will be no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
