On Friday, May 6, 2011, of Mrs. Claire (nee Cannon) Francis-Acorn of Charlottetown age 54 years. Beloved wife of Barry Acorn and dear mother of Amy Francis (Kent MacKinnon), Christopher, Andrea (Brandon) MacSweyn and Anne Marie Acorn. She is also survived by three grandchildren Duncan and Alex MacKinnon and Drew Acorn; mother, Marie Cannon (nee Callaghan); sisters and brother, Pat (Lennie) Thompson, Joseph (deceased), Linda (deceased), Lorne Cannon (Sandra MacDonald), Joyce (deceased) and Adera (Brian) Bradley; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband,Paul Robert Francis. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 a.m. Wednesday then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m.Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
