At the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home on Sunday, August 16, 2009, of Margaret Peggy Turriff (nee MacFadyen) of Charlottetown and formerly of Metis Beach, Quebec.
Margaret was born on April 30, 1923, and grew up in Turriff, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada as a war bride in 1946.
Dear mother of Richard Turriff (Mimi), Raymond Turriff (France), Grant Turriff (Martine), Joanne Dempsey (Brian) and Judy Proud (Gordon). Mother-in-law of Sharon Turriff. Lovingly remembered by her 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Noel Turriff; by her son, Scott; and by her grandson, Timothy.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Funeral service and burial to take place in Metis Beach, Quebec. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or Maritime Christian College.
