Passed away at Chancellor Park Nursing Home on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 after a long battle with Multi Infarct Dementia. Predeceased by his parents George and Irene White and sister Ferne. Leaving to mourn his wife of 51 years Anne (Vickers); daughter: Janice Keels (Mike); son: George (Sonya); grandchildren: Matthew and Laura Keels; sisters: Margaret Manning, Betty King, Heather Gulliver and Gladys Spurry; sister-in-law: Josephine Hynes; brothers-in-law: Edward Vickers (Bernadette) and Patrick Vickers (Josie); many nieces and nephews, special nephew Clifford King and many friends in Happy Valley - Goose Bay. As per Cliff’s instructions cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral. A private Memorial Service will take place at Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
