Jean Houghton
August 2, 1930 – July 25, 2009
Jean Houghton passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25th at the Royal University Hospital with family members at her side. Jean was predeceased by her son Robin, her mother and father, Janet and Archie Ewing and her older brother Bill (Anne). Jean is survived by her loving husband Merv of 56 years, her son Brad (Alana) and her grandson, Max. She is also survived by her sisters Les Trask (Ron), Joyce Ewing (Ed Bushey), Pat Hannah (Harold), Pearl Kraus, Lois Auramenko (Bob), Lynn Westbury (Glen) and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (corner of 4th Ave and 25th St.) on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow at the W.A Edwards Family Centre.
