LANDRY, WILFRED - (1923- 2011) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Wilfred Landry, 87, of St. Louis de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Kipnes Center for Veterans, Edmonton, AB on Wednesday, May 4th, 2011. Born in Point Sapin, he was the son of the late Albeni and late Annie (Goguen) Landry. Wilfred attended St. Louis des Français R.C. Church, he was a fisherman and a veteran of World War II. Wilfred will be sadly missed by his daughter; Bernice Hanninen (Esko) of Sherwood Park, AB, one grandson; Dr. Mikael Hanninen (Jennifer Mahoney) and one granddaughter; Natalie Hanninen (Saumya Pathirana) both of Edmonton AB, one sister; Irene Gray of Foyer Boisjoli St. Louis, and one brother; Clifford Landry of Point Sapin, several nieces and nephews. Wilfred was predeceased by his wife Simida (Robichaud) Landry, his son; Ronald Landry and daughter; Valdine Landry, one sister; Lina Vautour, two brothers; Patrick Landry and Gerard Landry.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Friday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2011 at 4:00 pm at the Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church.
