NICKERSON, Eva Mae – 68, Doctor’s Cove, passed away in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Monday, January 1, 2018. Born November 19, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Murray and Muriel (MacDonald) Buchanan. Eva enjoyed her time working with the girls at Tim Horton’s for 12 years. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Harley) Quigley, Calgary, AB; Lori (Frank) Buchanan, Shelburne; Kim (Conrad) Corporon, Wedgepot; step-children, Kevin Nickerson, Paula Nickerson; grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Megan, Ryan; great-granddaughters, Lilly, Lacey; sister, Shirley Risser; brothers, Hubert Buchanan, Ivan Buchanan, Lockie Buchanan; she also leaves behind 3 fur babies, 2 dogs, Lucy, Maggie; and cat, Tinkie. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Rusty Nickerson. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There was a memorial service held Wednesday, January 10, 2 p.m. at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
