Passed away January 8, 2018 at the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre, Bell Island, James Barry, originally from Curling, at the at age of 84 years. Predeceased by his parents. Leaving to mourn with profound sadness, his twin brother Bernard and younger brother Patrick; John and Theresa Power, with whom he resided for 18 years at St. Bride's; all his home care workers over these years, especially Katie, Brenie, Ruby and Angela; and his social worker Karen Cooney. A special thanks to the staff of Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre for the excellent care shown to James his last 10 weeks. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Wednesday from 12-7 pm, and Thursday from 10 am - 1:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 2 pm on Thursday, January 11th at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia.
