Passed peacefully away on Monday, August 17, 2009, in the presence of her family at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Mary Costello, aged 90 years of Avondale. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald, 1987, baby Harold, her son Bernard, daughter Margaret Tobin, sons-in-law: Kevin Gushue, Clarence Mason. Left with fond and loving memories are her two sons: Leo and Paul; four daughters: Pauline Gushue, Trudy (Pat) Hawco, Kay (Danny) Pellerine and Ann Mason; daughter-in-law Madeline Costello; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her sister Lillian Power and a circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, from Assumption Church, Avondale. Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
