Passed away suddenly in Cambridge, Ontario on January 10, 2018, Donna Elaine Byrne-Blackwood age 55 years. Predeceased by her father Edward "Ned" Blackwood on January 16th, 1994. Leaving to mourn her mother Minnie Blackwood; common-law spouse Fred Elliot; son Tyler Byrne (Karen Locke); daughter Jessica Byrne (Ian Meagher); sisters: Debbie Blackwood (Lloyd Button) and Diane Miller (Heber); special cousin Shirley Cook as well as other relatives and a large circle of Friends in Newfoundland and Ontario. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 11am-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2pm from Barrett’s Chapel, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
