The death occurred peacefully surrounded by family at Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary of Troy Chaisson, St. Edward aged 45 years. Common-law companion of Lori Doucette. He was born in O’Leary on February 8, 1972, the son of Michael Chaisson (Sheryl), Summerside and Rita Chaisson (Edward), St. Peter & St. Paul. Dear father to Tyra Perry, St. Edward. Cherished brother to Ricky Chaisson (Erin), Summerside and Rachel Butler (Troy), St. Edward. Loving uncle to Tyson Chaisson, Martina Butler, Brianna Butler and Leandra Jeffery and great uncle to Canyon, Creed, Cayson and Paisley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and many friends. He was predeceased by grandparents Leo & Olive Chaisson and Alphy & Mae Gaudet. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday January 23, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place later in the church cemetery.
