With heavy hearts, we the family, regretfully announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Christopher “Gerry” on Thursday, January 18th, 2018 in Fort McMurray, Alberta at the age of 42 years. Gerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Tristin and Alisha of Fort McMurray; his parents Max and Jean Reid of Rocky Hr; his brothers Frank (Viola) of Rocky Hr and Darren (Patricia) of Rocky Hr; his sister Deidre (Greg) Pike of Shoal Brook; nieces and nephews Phillip (Jessica), Joshua, Sarah, Nathan and Sophia; great-niece Jolianne; great-nephews Clark and Chesley; special friend Gina. The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Matthews Anglican Church, in Rocky Hr, NL, on Monday, January 22nd, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018, at 2 pm, with Rev Kay Short officiating with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Rocky Hr, NL. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted and or donations may be made to the St. Matthews, Anglican Church in Rocky Hr, NL, in Gerry’s memory.
