It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Wiseman announce her passing on Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories are her eight children: Wayne (Marilyn), Wilhelmina Kennedy (Richard), Edie Gregory (Bruce), Rocky (Brenda), Melvin (Natalie), Larry, Terry (Nancy), Rodney (Nathalie) and Michael; 21 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brothers Stephen, Harry, Donald and Gerry Clarke; sisters Marie Samms and Kay Haldane; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Harold and son Leonard in 1996. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive on Friday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. with Captains Cory and Pamela Pinksen officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
