The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Thursday, January 25, 2018, of Gilles Robichaud, beloved husband of Angelie Robichaud (nee Robichaud), formerly of Cornwall, aged 88. He was the loving father of Martha Drummond (Dana), Guy (Jo-Anne), Denise Uyterlinde (Barry) and Anne Robichaud; grandfather of Sarah, Kristyn, André, Matthew, Mitchell, Justin, Marc, Hannah and Abbey; and great-grandfather of Lily, Sawyer, Felix, Cohen and Skylar. Gilles is also survived by his sisters, Anne-Marie Landry and Thérèse Parker; sister-in-law, Imelda Robichaud (Stan); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Nora (Landry) Robichaud; brothers, Yvon and Albain Robichaud; and sisters, Lawrence and Régine Robichaud. Resting at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall. No visitation by personal request. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
