SOMERVILLE, VALERIE (BELYEA) - The family of Valerie Somerville (Belyea) announce her passing on May 1st in Englewood, Florida. Val was born in Saint John in 1927. She is predeceased by her dad Wendell, mom Margaret (Johnston), two daughters, Kim and Wendy. She is survived by husband Bud, daughter Dawn of FL and son Curt of New Hampshire, two sisters, Jeanne (Dykeman) of Saint John and Beverlie of Ma., several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Valerie graduated from SJHS in 1946 and then NB Normal school and taught in Saint John for a short time. She and Bud were married in 1949 and they resided in several U.S. cities while raising their four children. They retired to Florida several years ago.
There will be a memorial service at their vacation home in N.H. this summer.
