Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Saturday, January 27, 2018, Ella Peddle of Hodges Cove, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd; parents Mary and William Vey; infant child Dermot John. Left with fond and loving memories her daughter Denise Peddle (Paul Whalen); son Raymond; grandchildren Alexander, Maggie and Daniel; great grandson Parker; sisters Donna Vey (Stuart Roberts), Karen Spurrell (Graham) and Kathy Smith; brother Lloyd Vey (Donna); nieces and nephews Deidre, Danielle, Dayna, Nicole, Brittany and Nicholas; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at the Anglican Church, Hodges Cove. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Anglican Church, Hodges Cove with cremation to follow. In her memory donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
