The family of the late Mackie Macintosh would like to thank everyone who share their love and support during our recent bereavement. To that special community of family, friends, neighbors,and colleagues, those who visited with us sent expressions of sympathy, flowers, food, made donations in Mackie's memory, we are truly grateful. Your acts of kindness and generosity gave us comfort and strength. To Mackie's brother-in-law, Rev Ralph Johnston for the beautiful service and help in so many ways to smooth this difficult path for us. To Ashley MacIntosh(granddaughter) and Colleen Leadbeater(colleague of Mackies, and friend of the family), for the Bible readings. To Ben Furey for his beautiful rendition of "If that isn't love", the organist, Nancy Masters, Bethel Choir, a sincere thank you. To the CBRM Police and Retired Police Associates, for the Honor guard at the funeral and wake, God bless you all. Mackie was very proud of his Police heritage. To the pallbearers Lawrence Ferguson, Doug Woodill, Wells Woodill. Wayne Penny, Donald Morrison, Rod MacNeil.Honorary Pallbearer, John MacKay and Calvin Rafuse. to the Friendship Guild of Bethel Presbyterian Church, for the lovely lunch after the funeral, the caretaker, secretary and all who helped in any way. A special thank you to the Harbourstone Enhanced Care staff where Mackie resided for the past four years for their kind and compassionate care. And last but not least thanks to Wayne Weatherbee for his capable and professional staff at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Our every need was met graciously. With appreciation and gratitude.
